When entering messages, do not strike the <enter> key until you have completed
typing your message. When the enter key is pressed the host program presumes
the message is complete, and saves to file what was typed. Then returns to the
main menu. One way to space messages over one line is to watch the status bar
at the bottom of the screen. The bar is usually full 80 characters long. And
makes an excellent guide to show screen width. Use the space bar at the end of
the line to proceed to the next line. Please remember six (6) lines max.
thanx!.

Subject: Implement ANSI.SYS 12:21.31 A.M.
Hi, Be sure when you set up your modem communications to properly install
ANSI.SYS, so you can see all IBM graphic characters, that are transmitted
by nearly all BBS's.
One way to install the ANSI file is to create a config.sys file in your
root directory, or if the config.sys file already exists, be sure to use
a format similar to the following example.
DEVICE=C:\DOS\ANSI.SYS
BUFFERS=20
FILES=20
In the above example C: refers to drive.
DOS refers to subdirectory where ansi.sys is based.
ANSI.SYS is the acual file needed for graphic chars.
This config.sys file can be created by various means, EDLIN,WORDSTAR(non-
document mode) or any ansi editor.
The buffer and file parameters are only suggestions, that are advised by
most popular comm. programs(Procom,Telix,and etc.).
